The symbols in Phantom of the Opera include: the Phantom's Mask, Christine, a Red Rose, Sheet Music, Mirror, Sealed Letter, and cards ace through nine. The Phantom's Mask is the wild symbol also known as the substitute symbol. It will substitute for all other symbols to form winning combinations. It does not substitute for the scatter symbol. When the wild symbol appears in a winning combination, your payout will be doubled. Moreover, if the Phantom Mask symbol makes up a winning pay line during the free spins round, your win will be multiplied by 6xs. The scatter symbol is the Letter. The Letter symbol will trigger the bonus round. Speaking of the Letter, we do get to see what the Phantom wrote to Christine. This is the first time we have seen this particular Letter symbol opened.
